Stephen Richie, MEd., LAC offers individual, child, and family counseling for ages 12 years old and older. Primarily using Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques to address the inevitable emotion based challenges. Steve is the ultimate ADHD counselor due to his history with ADHD coaching and additional knowledge of how executive function deficits affect everyday life. Through compassion and solution focused perspectives, Steve addresses depression, anxiety, addictions, bipolar disorder, serious mental illness, and parenting struggles. I utilize brief assessments to establish goals for treatment.
Steve's goal for his clients is to bring a sense a safety, support, and inspiration for growth in order to help them become their best selves. He recognizes the blessings and challenges of having a mind that operates faster than others’. His approach is supportive and structured within a nonjudgmental environment. If welcome, he can incorporate Biblical concepts also.
Developing brains need nurturing, understanding and care to thrive. Steve works with his clients through stress intolerance, depression, and anxiety. Together, we build a bank of working coping skills that might include emotional regulation strategies, art therapy, mindfulness, problem solving, target setting, and effective communication techniques.

Whitney McShane, MA, LAC
Whitney McShane, MA, LAC offers individual counseling for adults and older adults 18 and up. Primarily using Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques alongside Positive Therapy. Whitney has studied extensively on helping the geriatric community. Whitney did her internship with a variety of age groups with the Native American community. Whitney has experience working with substance abuse, Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and other related disorders. Whitney provides compassion and solution focused perspectives. Whitney conducts assessments to best establish goals for treatment that are right for you to meet your unique needs and priorities.
When helping you reach the happiness in your life, Whitney provides a safe and comforting ear and voice. Whitney’s nonjudgmental environment and reassuring positive theory allows for you to achieve a balanced life. Whitney makes sure to look at all aspects of life to work on the best treatment.
